I don't cook in the kitchen sink

I'm hoping to go back home and so I have a social worker to assess my needs. She went to my house last week and when she came back she said to me
There is some crockery in your washing up bowl.
I was taken into a&e by ambulance and I could not stand up therefore I left dishes in the sink. And she said there are some pans on your hob. They are keen.
So she said how do you expect somewhere to eat your meals when there is crockery in the sink?
Well personally I don't cook in the sink.
